Sin-e, New York City 060904   --> Back to the live page <-- After staying a couple of days at Ben's place we were kindly offered to stay at our friend Jeff's(Essex Green/insert your favorite Brooklyn band here) place, he had been stuck down south due to the tornadoes and helping a friend move that took longer than planned, sweet relief for us that he made it back. We hade a really good breakfast at Kate's in Manhattan which I can recommend to anyone who's not down with the sugary/meaty american food, great scrambled tofu. Probably the worst gig of the tour..first of all this female metal/garage band played first which really didn't seem to fit the bill. I guess the great Metric Mile saved the night by doing a great set! Then it was us and the sound on stage was so awful and sounded like heavy metal, people said it sounded good out though, so hopefully it was ok. One funny thing that happened during this gig was that the guy who plays the "nerd" guy from the "Fight for your right to party" video with The Beastie Boys was there and bought a CD. The setlist: 1.
