Tommy's tavern, New York City 040904

First day in NYC and we were almost homeless but we finally managed to get to stay at Ben's(Great Lakes) place in Brooklyn. The day of this gig I felt really sick and just wanted to go home to my soft bed, this was mainly due to that we probably didn't eat and sleep as much as we should. But Hey, you know what they say "I'll sleep when I'm dead". One funny thing is that we had breakfast at Tom's diner in Brooklyn and they had a photo of the swedish royalfamily..apparently they were there last year eating och our king got sick. The gig itself was one of the sweatiest ever and we were all soaked in the hot room, NYC was sooo hot! You could feel the heat from the asphalt in your skin, draining you of all water inside. Maybe 30-40 people were there so it was alright and we played pretty good except for me who missed a few powerchords here and there cause I didn't have a spotlight. Great Lakes who were supposed to play with us couldn't make it so Ben set us up with 2 singer/songwriter guys he knew, it worked out good. We were happy see that so many of our friends made it to this gig including Kirsten(see photo).
