PA's lounge, Somerville(Boston) 020904   --> Back to the live page <-- First gig of the US tour, we had a few days rest before playing this gig and hung around Boston and Harvard area which was fun. Boston is a pretty cool city, the sportsfans are crazy here though. Our host/driver Frank(Shumai) lives close to the Harvard area so of course we have to had around there taking photos of the football stadium, John Harvard statue(see photos) and just shop in general. I mean what would collegemovies be without Harvard? You know we had to be there. Bought some cool pins, records, shoes and clothes. Sizes are too big here though and almost doesn't fit us. The show was cool, we played with Snoozer, Pants Yell and Shumai. A decent crowd were there, not too bad at all and all the bands played good sets. Being a fairly slim blueeyed soul it's pretty hard to not look like you're a tourist when you're here..most people seem to tell you're out of town. Oh yeah, we ate at this all vegan chinese resturant that was great called the Grasshopper, highly recommended if you're in town.
